Rescue provides behavior change marketing services (or "social marketing") to government, non-profit and corporate organizations. Rescue's current work focuses on tobacco, obesity, violence and alcohol prevention; the promotion of exercise, fresh foods and after school programs; and other products and services that promote healthy living. Most of Rescue's behavior change campaigns focus on teens (13 - 17) and young adults (18 - 26), resulting in unrivaled experience in adolescent behavior change campaigns.

Rescue is seeking an Events Contractor experienced in planning and promoting rock shows/concerts to teens in Connecticut. The contractor will plan, promote and execute approximately six events before June 30, 2018. Rock events will be designed to reach the local alternative rock, hardcore, metal and/or pop punk subcultures.
This is an ideal contract for anyone who enjoys the local music scene and wants to work with alternative rock events. The contractor will work with a street team, bands, venues, promoters and anyone else needed to create a successful show and deliver a positive health message.
Rescue is working to promote a healthy lifestyle through fully-branded events that target teens (ages 13-18) in the local music scene in Connecticut. The strategy focuses on alternative rock shows, street promotions, social media, branded clothing and other scene-specific tactics.
Event Coordination Contract Details:
Must be 18 y/o or older
Must have reliable transportation, and computer and Internet access at home. Must be available to perform contract duties during non-traditional hours such as late nights and weekends. All business-related environments are tobacco-free.
Must be able to manually lift up to 40 pounds from the floor to table height and back to the floor, and work standing for 4-7 hours.
Events Contractor will be paid a flat fee for services rendered of $200 per event plus an additional flat fee based on direct mail card collection. There will be approximately six events before June 30, 2018.
