Rescue provides behavior change marketing services (or "social marketing") to government, non-profit and corporate organizations. Rescue's current work focuses on tobacco, obesity, violence and alcohol prevention; the promotion of exercise, fresh foods and after school programs; and other products and services that promote healthy living. Most of Rescue's behavior change campaigns focus on teens (13 - 17) and young adults (18 - 26), resulting in unrivaled experience in adolescent behavior change campaigns.

Rescue is seeking an independent contractor to coordinate survey data collection at local bars and nightclubs in Albuquerque, NM on a weekly basis for approximately 6 to 8 weeks (23 nights). This Research Coordination Contractor will recruit and supervise a local team of three to five surveyors to survey 300 young adults (18-26 year olds) at local bars and nightclubs.
The Research Coordination Contractor is responsible for managing survey-based data collection at local bars and nightclubs. This Contractor will recruit and supervise a local team of 3-5 surveyors to collect 300 surveys from teens (18-26 year olds).
This is an ideal contract for a self-starter who enjoys networking and the local nightlife scene in Albuquerque, NM. The Contractor will work with nightclub and bar management to gain access to the venues to conduct surveying. The ideal contractor must be available to work non-traditional hours such as late nights and weekends (usually between 10PM and 1AM) based on a randomized schedule.
Research Coordination Contractor Obligations:
Managerial, Field Marketing, In-Person Data Collection or Research (Private, Gov, Academic)
Associates degree or minimum of two years of college education.
Must be 21 y/o or older
Must have reliable transportation, and computer and Internet access at home. Must be available to work non-traditional hours such as late nights and weekends. All business-related environments are tobacco-free.
Must be able to manually lift up to 40 pounds from the floor to table height and back to the floor, and work standing for 4-6 hours.
Independent Contractor, up to $1,500. Research Coordination Contractor will be paid for services rendered according to the fulfillment of milestones over the course the research project. Surveyors will be paid for services rendered based on the number of valid surveys submitted. Costs associated with going out for surveying are not covered in this contract.
