Rescue is a marketing company unlike any other. We are driven by a mission to make healthy behaviors easier and more appealing. We provide services exclusively to organizations that share in this mission.
We believe that marketing can do more than sell goods, it can create good.
We all hold strong beliefs in what we do and why we do it. Here are a few values that are unique to us as individuals and as a collective group. When you get to know us, you’ll see that we display…
Responsible Rebelliousness. We take pride in our ability to respectfully challenge the status quo to create innovative programs that work.
Passionate Perseverance. We approach each day, every task, and all projects with mission driven focus, relentless spirit, and the strength to navigate all obstacles.
Cultural Competency. We seek to understand the foundation of distinct cultures and we track ever-changing trends so we can ignite behavior change.
And, a Healthy Respect for Data. We make professional decisions based on validated data with the goal of positive, provable results.
An Internship at Rescue will provide you with practical knowledge in behavior change marketing from research and evaluation to brand concepts, design and implementation. You will gain real world, hands on experience and valuable skills to take with you as you advance in your career, maybe as you advance in your career at Rescue. To date, approximately 50% of Rescue interns are hired into full-time roles at the end of their internship.
We have three internship cycles each year – in the Fall, the Spring, and the Summer.
Ideal candidates for the Rescue internship program are graduates or current students pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in the fields of marketing, communications, psychology, sociology, and public health. Creativity, and an interest in public health, tobacco control, or any of the issues and behaviors that Rescue works on are a plus.
Each internship opportunity may have additional qualifications, which will be listed in the individual posting. Application timeframes for each semester are:
Internship opportunities will remain open until filled. Current internship opportunities can be found on our Careers page.
We expect that interns will work about 10 – 20 hours per week depending on their availability. All internship opportunities are paid, though we are happy to work with you and your educational institution to provide the internship experience for college credit. If your school will not allow a paid internship, we will work with your school to offer the opportunity as unpaid for college credit. If you would like to earn college credit for your internship experience with us, additional application deadlines may apply depending on your school’s enrollment schedule.
