Jason Gabisch, PhD

Marketing Insights Analyst since 2016

As a Marketing Insights Analyst at Rescue, Jason is responsible for analyzing campaign performance across online and offline channels including digital and social media, web analytics, traditional advertising, and experiential marketing in order to formulate strategic recommendations for optimizing those campaigns.

Jason joins Rescue with experience as both an academic and practitioner in digital marketing. He served as a professor of marketing at Providence College and the University of Akron for 4 years before moving to San Diego in 2015 to work as an SEM Account Manager for a digital marketing agency that manages websites and online campaigns for small to medium sized health care clinics.

Jason holds a PhD from the University of Massachusetts with a minor in advanced research methods. He also attended the University of New Hampshire where he completed an MBA and BS in marketing and a BA in Political Science. He has published several articles in peer reviewed marketing and e-commerce journals, has presented at national marketing and public policy conferences, and has consulted for local businesses.

Growing up as a military brat Jason has lived throughout the United States and Europe including Hawaii, Spain, Italy, South Carolina, Virginia, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Ohio. He enjoys traveling, attending MLS soccer games, and playing the drums.
