Behavior change has been a lifelong passion for Sam. While receiving his BA in Psychology, he conducted academic research related to behavior change surrounding harmful gender role ideologies. The elements of research that excited Sam in college—statistical rigor and real world impact—continue to energize him and guide his career.

Sam’s pursuit of meaningful marketing efforts led him onto a national bicycling tour dedicated to combating the global water crisis. Sam’s interests in social branding and cause marketing was sparked by those two months spent cycling from Seattle to NYC, raising awareness and funds.

Before joining the Rescue team, Sam worked with a multi-million dollar national client at Russ Reid Co., the leading marketing agency for nonprofits. His time there taught Sam much about audience targeting, managing client relationships, and keeping everybody’s ducks in a row.

Sam is excited to be onboard at Rescue as a Sr. Account Manager, working with the FDA to prevent tobacco use among LGBT young adults.
