Shannon Blyth

Senior Research Director since 2015

As the Senior Research Director at Rescue, Shannon leads a growing team of researchers to conduct the foundational research that informs and supports the company’s programs for social change.
Prior to joining Rescue, Shannon managed primary market research efforts for well-known brands including Audi of America, General Mills, Hilton Worldwide, Sony, and Yahoo!, developing an extensive quantitative and qualitative research background through conducting new product development, segmentation, awareness and brand equity, advertising effectiveness, and tracking studies. Shannon also spent time working as a personal trainer, and is excited to combine her diverse experience in research with her personal passion for health and wellness in her current role.
Shannon earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Communications Studies and Sociology from the University of California, Los Angeles. When she’s not at work, Shannon enjoys Crossfit / Olympic Weightlifting, spending time at the beach, and being a pet parent to her Dachshund / Chihuahua mix Tawny.
