Dana Wagner, PhD

Senior Research Scientist since 2013

dana@rescueagency.com
331

From an early age, Dana was very aware of the intergroup tensions as well as the health and economic disparities that surrounded her. She avowed to dedicate her life to being an agent of positive change for future generations.

Dana received her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Doctoral degree in Applied Social Psychology from Loyola University. Her specialization is in intergroup relations, social stigma, and identifying pathways for improving outcomes for traditionally underrepresented groups. She has experience designing and managing both community-collaborative and experimental research projects around vital issues such as prejudice and stereotyping, mental health, substance use, homelessness, and proactive coping with discrimination. Dana also brings knowledge and experience with research methods, survey design, instrument design and validation, qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, as well as professional and academic writing.

Dana is an advocate for social justice in both her personal and professional lives, and is excited to join Rescue in its mission for social change.
