At Rescue, positive social change is more than just a charity case. Our mission is to make healthy behaviors easier and more appealing and everything we do is focused on positive social change. As a proud B Corp, our mission is written into our company bylaws and our passion for and dedication to social good is embedded in our culture. You won’t find sterile cubicles or rigid organization structures here. We are a team of go-getters who refuse to accept mediocrity. We work together, we celebrate together, and we change behaviors together.
For almost a decade, Rescue’s Field Organizer Fellows have recruited, trained, and mobilized youth advocates from across the country achieve impactful policy results in their local communities. From food access to tobacco prevention, Rescue’s Field Organizers have tackled some of our nations most pressing public health issues and succeeded in creating measurable change.

Our Fellowship Program requires a minimum 1-year commitment from July – June. Applications open in the spring with final decisions being made by the end of June. Fellows with an excellent track record may earn an invitation to complete a second year along with a second year signing bonus. Invitations for a second year are based on performance and the number of open positions.
We love interns. We regularly hire college and grad students for three to six month internships where they gain real experience with our Research, Creative, Social Media, Strategy, and Client Service teams. Some interns join us for a semester and others have stayed longer and established a career at Rescue. Creative and curious students interested in marketing, communications, psychology, sociology, or public health are encouraged to apply through our careers listings.
Application timeframes each semester are:
- Fall Semester — July and August for the September through December program
- Spring Semester — November and December for the January through April program
- Summer Semester — March and April for the June through September
